The “Residenza Borgo Antico” in Nichelino was designed as a single building block, organized over three above-ground floors and a basement level. The complex comprises six residential units, eight garages, and four storage rooms. Pedestrian access is located on the front street, while the vehicle ramp leads to the garage and the heating plant.
The project included integrated systems to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability: a condensing boiler combined with a heat pump, an 8.8 m² solar thermal system, and a 4.8 kW photovoltaic system, serving heating and domestic hot water production. All units were equipped with individual consumption metering in compliance with UNI 10200:2018.
The structure and systems were developed to ensure residential comfort and energy conservation through thermal and acoustic insulation, high-performance windows, and rational water resource management. The adopted solutions guaranteed compliance with current regulations and the durability of the building, reinforcing the integration of architectural quality and environmental performance.
