The electrical system serving a restaurant was designed for both the ground floor (reception hall, bar, kitchen, dining rooms) and the basement level (storage and changing rooms). The systems, compliant with CEI 64-8 standards, included: main incoming and distribution panels, ordinary and emergency lighting, power distribution, methane gas leak detection, earthing system, intrusion alarm, and video intercom.
Safety and ease of maintenance were prioritized through distributed isolation devices and differential protection systems. The lighting design ensured visual comfort levels in accordance with UNI EN 12464-1, with a focus on energy efficiency.
In the kitchen, safety devices for gas leak detection were integrated with mechanical extraction systems, as required by fire safety regulations. The existing earthing system was verified and upgraded in accordance with D.P.R. 462/2001.
A lightning risk assessment was also carried out pursuant to CEI EN 62305-2, showing values below the required limits. Additionally, an interior layout study was developed to optimize the functional arrangement of the spaces according to their intended use.
