The project involved the urban redevelopment and safety improvement of Via Gino in the Municipality of Sangano, with the goal of enhancing pedestrian and cycling mobility, increasing road safety, and upgrading the underground utility network.
A new cycle–pedestrian path, an integrated public lighting system, and updated road signage were built. The roadway was resurfaced with targeted works designed to ensure greater durability and long-term resistance. New drains and conduits were installed for the disposal of surface water, preventing flood risks.
The intervention also included measures to remove architectural barriers, featuring accessible sidewalks and tactile paths for visually impaired users. The redevelopment improved the usability of the public space, raising the overall safety and sustainability of the urban road system.
