The project involved the renovation of the INAIL headquarters in Castellammare di Stabia, with interventions aimed at optimizing internal spaces, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving energy efficiency. The interior spaces were completely reorganized: on the ground floor, the Health and Administrative areas were redefined, while the first floor was arranged with offices and the data center according to principles of functionality and uniformity.
Architectural works included the demolition of existing partitions, installation of new flooring, insulated partition walls, and modular suspended ceilings, as well as the replacement of windows and finishes. Particular attention was given to access: the entrance ramp was redesigned to ensure full accessibility, featuring a glass parapet and new safe pathways.
From a systems perspective, a new fan-coil air conditioning system, controlled mechanical ventilation, updated electrical and specialized systems, and the replacement of water and drainage networks were installed. The intervention complied with current regulations regarding safety, barrier-free accessibility, and Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM).
