The project focused on improving the energy performance and reducing the seismic risk of a residential building. The works, carried out under the Superbonus 110% scheme, included the renovation of the building envelope and the optimization of the mechanical systems.
Thermal insulation measures were implemented through an external insulation system, roof insulation, and the replacement of windows with high-efficiency frames. A photovoltaic system with battery storage was installed, and the existing boiler was replaced with a condensing model, integrating thermostatic valves for optimal regulation.
From a structural perspective, the roof was demolished and rebuilt with glulam beams and a reinforced concrete ring beam to enhance the building’s seismic behaviour. The intervention significantly reduced energy consumption while improving both living comfort and structural safety.
